Ms Archana Sardana is the webmaster and content developer for www.indiansubmariner.com and Honorary Secretary for the 'Indian Veteran Submariners League' (IVSL). She has been passionately involved with both the website and the NGO since their inception in Aug 2003.

Archana completed her schooling from Srinagar, is a Bachelor of Science from Jammu University and has a three year Diploma in Interior Design. She loves outdoor sports and did her Mountaineering Courses from the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling. In 2007, after interaction with the Navy Skydivers she decided to undertake a course in Accelerated Freefall Training (AFF) at the Perris Valley Skydiving School, California, USA and successfully did 51 jumps thereby earning a 'B' license from the 'United States Paratroopers Association'. (License no. B-30674, website www.uspa.org). Currently she working to put together India's first all woman 4 way skydiving team.

Archana was married in Dec 1997 into a family of career military officers. Her husband is a serving submariner of the Indian Navy and has two boisterous boys Ayush and Pranav, aged 6 and 8 yrs. Archana, a submarine aficionado, has a primary goal of life to proactively pursue the stated aim of IVSL and implement the philosophy behind www.indiansubmariner.com.
